Does COMPROMISE seem to be a struggle-sometimes you win sometimes you don’t?
Well, today you’re going to discover 3 things you can easily put into action immediately to avoid compromise while you wait for God’s best.
These aren’t rocket science-you simply need to be intentional with your choices and know that you have the power to choose how to live even on the hard days.

God is your Jehovah Jireh
A PROVIDER is a person who gives someone something they need.
We all have needs-where do we go or who do we look to, to meet them is extremely important.
As a daughter of God, you know you have a Father who is well able to provide for all your needs. As a matter of fact God is Your NEED Meeter! (Charles Stanley).
Sometimes waiting on God’s provision may be difficult because you get impatient, or you may think He will not deliver on His Word or His promise to you.
Or you may want more than He has provided for a particular need. If this happens:
God is your Jehovah Jireh
A PROVIDER is a person who gives someone something they need.
We all have needs-where do we go or who do we look to, to meet them is extremely important.

Sometimes waiting on God’s provision may be difficult because you get impatient, or you may think He will not deliver on His Word or His promise to you.
Or you may want more than He has provided for a particular need. If this happens:
***Don’t compromise your beliefs
***Don’t get into wrong relationships
***Don’t get into questionable situations
***Don’t align yourself wrongly
***Don’t lie
***Don’t mess around with sex-don’t defile God’s temple. I know it’s your body, but it is His temple. It’s where He has chosen to live!
Instead know that God is your Provider. He will Provide. He is more than able
Trust His timing. Trust His plan.
I know the following scripture may hit hard, but you are mature, grown. You need food not milk to get you to where you need to be in God’s divine plan.
Jeremiah 17: 5-6
Thus says the Lord:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.
If you are looking to self, family, friends, Church, job, man or woman to meet your needs and not trusting in the LORD to provide for your needs the Bible says you are cursed.
Check:
*are you walking in dryness- life, ministry etc.?
*do you recognise answer to prayer or are u still waiting for it?
*are you encountering hardship; no fruitfulness?
Who has been your Provider?
The omnipotent God or flesh that is powerless?
If God is Your Provider- hear what Jeremiah 17: 7- says
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. 8For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
What can you learn for this? Let’s take a look:
“Planted”-youre stable; grounded.
“Spreads out its roots”-you are unafraid to live and is not afraid when the bills accumulate; when an unexpected issue arises that need solving now.
“Leaf will be green”-fruit of the Spirit will still be evident, even when heat/pressure turns to drought (lack),
“Yielding fruit”- the fruit of the Spirit will still be evident in your life no matter what you are going through.
Life has any trwists and turns-change comes in your life so don’t allow your heart to teach you right action from wrong action-use the Word of God instead. Your heart isn’t as reliable and sure like the Word.
Listen to Jeremiah 17: 9-10 : The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, The Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
So, Don’t follow your heart as is the popular saying-your heart may lead you to compromise while you wait for God’s best.

# 2 Know That God Sees You
In Genesis 16 Hagar got pregnant by Abram and she kinda started acting up-disrespected Sarai- she and Sarai were at odds. Sarai treated her badly and she decides to run away and the Bible says the Angel of the LORD found her by a spring of water in the wilderness
In verse 13 Hagar gives Him the name El Roi, “The God Who Sees Me.” Here’s what it says:
13 Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, You-Are-the-God-Who-Sees; for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?”
14 Therefore the well was called Beer Lahai Roi; observe, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
Did you notice that between the time the Angel of the LORD appeared and spoke to Hagar to the end of the conversation the spring of water where He found her became a well?
God sees you- He knows you by name-let that sink in
It’s Not just that He sees the things you do whether compromise or not whether good or not
He sees your situation, your needs. He sees your heart’s desire.
But
He also sees you- you His very own daughter redeemed by the blood of His Son Jesus Christ your Saviour. He sees you and in that place you see Him also.
In seeing you He sees His plans for you not just the pain or difficulty of today or your past or what you are trying to get away from now BUT He sees the complete picture. It’s not a puzzle to Him. Everything connects in His hands.
You may not know how your current hardship, or the fact that you are barely surviving fits into God’s plan of abundance for you, or a place of no more compromise. That place where He found Hagar was just a stream in the wilderness; a trickle in the desert.
But after speaking to her, after telling her of His plans for her, He instructed her and gave her hope. Where He found her became a well that sustained her not just for that day but way beyond it and you can have that also.
Know that God sees you and where He sees you He has made provision but He has more instore and when He has finished talking to you about your now and about your future-He will instruct you and give you a deep well (knowledge and experience) to draw from when the going gets rough.
KNOW that God sees you-
Then you will say like Hagar, “have I seen the God who sees me?”
Yes, He is El Roi. He sees you. It’s personal.

John 15
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
To avoid compromise go through the process to abide in Christ.
As you abide, the pruning will remove everything you trusted in whether it was self, your job, your family, man, woman, your skills, your abilities even your reputation.
When oportunities to compromise come. When you are challenged. You get to choose. When that happens, will you cling to Jesus for dear life or will you run from the process because it gets hard on your flesh?
You know this, the flesh and its appetite (desires, and longings) must be brought under the Lord’s control.
Compromise in every area of your life will only be eliminated when you abide for real. Not 1 foot in and 1 foot out
Hear Psalm 119:10-11
With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
Let the Word create the boundaries in your life. It will protect you and keep you safe. They will keep you true.
So, if you want transformation renew your mind with the Word and use these tips, they will help you to avoid compromise every single time.
Never forget:
- Know that God is PROVIDER
- Know that God Sees You
- Abide in Christ
